WORKING EXPERIENCE

• Field Training Practical (FTP) at WamiRuvu Basin at Morogoro Where I was attached as an Environmental Officer, with duties which included:

• Participating in water resources protection programs,

• Assisted in assessing and monitoring the quality and quantity of water in basin,

• Participated in conducting operation and maintenance of water resource monitoring stations,

• Participation in controlling and taking legal measures against water resource polluters,

• Participated in resolving water use conflicts,

• Participated in monitoring and regulating water use, according to natural availability,

• Assisted in sensitizing stakeholders on sustainable use of water resources and

• Engaged in coordinating the integrated water resources management plans.

  Past duties and responsibilities

To prepare flight document, satellite picture,upper level wind and temperature data,  issue weather hazard, monitoring weather changes in the area and issue SIGMET incase of the observed severe weather phenomenon. To monitor weather information given in the flight Document is correct. All procedure of Quality Management System is in accordance with TMA procedures.
